Git Commits

Languages: Any
Targets: Architectures, Files, Project
Report on the Git commits for a given target.

This interactive report provides a summary chart of commits over time and a table detailing each commit. It's similar to information from a Git log, except you can calculate it for any architecture of files, not just "Directory Structure".

Authors can be broken into three categories:

Files with strong ownership are preferred, and files with many minor contributors are more bug prone. (Bird, Christian, et al. "Don't touch my code! Examining the effects of ownership on software quality." Proceedings of the 19th ACM SIGSOFT symposium and the 13th European conference on Foundations of software engineering. 2011.)

This report breaks down the chart by author role, and shows the author role in the table using the same color scheme.
